Just writing to share some of my experiences.

I´m still at maximum time delay despite some serious storms (our house really takes the brunt as it is adjacent to open fields). I have however increased the flow from 6 watts to 11-14 watts from the pump to the house. Max temp. is still 75-76 degrees. I have 5-6 start/burning phases pr 24 hours.

Compared to last year I have noticed a slight reduction in consumption which is a trend I hope continues :)

Hejsan

I´m ready to make a midway status. Still at a maximum of 5-6 starts from 40-45 celsius to 75 celsius and slightly increased pump-flow. I have saved pellets and am pretty sure that I will use between 2700-3000kg for this season. Last season I spend 3050kg and it was a slightly milder winter.

This is good :D

I am however puzzled as to how the savings come about - it isn´t colder in the house, the concrete floor heating is at the same setting, and roughly 15 meters of pipes are still un-insulated.

Anyone care to venture a guess?
