Thermia Matningsystem dead (Skruv)
Hi all,
since yesterday afternoon, my thermia matningssystem is dead
After 800 kg of transported pellets the screw looks like this:
The screw was all in all 12m long
4m in the pellets storage + 1x 45° bow + 1m + 1x45° bow + 5m
I just ordered the spare parts and build a new matning with two motors and a box to handle over the pellets between...

Hej

Hi,
the pellet storage is about 2 m filled. there are 3 inlets to the tube.
it is installed exactly the way thermia describes in it´s booklet
there is of course a centerpipe (made of copper) inside the pellet storage.
my dealer has a book which says: when this happens - screw too long
I have put some pics up here:
the green line is a bow, going directly to the pellets storage - the red line is the way to the pannrum
the motor was in the pannrum before- now i use it for the first part of my new matningsystem. below the motor i have planned to make a box made of wood, where the next skruv goes into and brings the pellets to the pannrum
the red points was another 45° bow

Thermia says that 24 Meters is the maximum of the Skrew.
On my skrew i have tow 45° & one 90°..
How can thay say that you are using to long skrew.. ?
800Kg has my skrew transported so far.. any time now?
hope not....

Thermia Biomatic 20+. Bulkförrådet på 6,5Kubik. 11,5 M Skruv till Pannan som nu mera är av.
In think they mean that the screw i too long if you corelate it to the length of the tube.Per-Erik skrev:Strange..!

Today the first 24h test of my new matningsystem ended positely!
Now i have 2 skruv and 2 motors (större modell)
No.1 brings out the pellets of the storage
No2 brings them into the pannhus
The pellets fall out from skruv 1 directly into skruv 2.
There is only a plastic-bin around.
Because the 2 motors run exactly at the same speed, there is no problem with too much or to less pellets.
see here motor1+ from storage and below motor2 near the pannrum
PS: The bottom of pic1 is just full of pellets from trying around. The storage is directly at the lift side.
