Idea: Alarm for Bequem burner

Hi Forum,
just wanted to tell about a idea, i had yesterday:

I wanted to monitor my bequem burner from the far.
Because i was not able to buy a interface to connect, i was building my own solution.

i used a siemens mobile phone and a talking thermometer.
when i ring this phone, it answer the call by itself and the talking thermometer (from Ebay, 7 €) says for example: "inside temperature sixty seven, outside temperature fifty five" Now i can measure 2 different temperatures!

so when i am away i can check if the heating is running...

the next step is to build a interface which is using DTMF-Tones (the tones you hear, when you touch any keys while calling someone) to switch the burner on or off and make a restart...
