Looking Information about PellX+BioSol

Inlägg av lopau »

Good morning,

I am a French and I would like to install a pellet system in my house for heating. You have to know that pellet is very new in France (we are late regarding north country like Sweden). I am living in Toulouse (South of France).

I am interested on PellX + BioSol system (see http://www.alterenerg.com/html/pellx_bio-sol.html ). I would like to use it for heating a house of 120m2 (heating by floor, good isolation) + use of solar panel for hot water (4 m2).

Also, as nobody installed this system in France, I have no user feedback.

- So, I would like if someone have already install this kind of system ?
- What do you think about this product (positive and negative points) ?
- What is the after sales quality of PellX society ?
- Is PellX society is reliable (how many years old, how many people) ?
- If I use 4m2 of solar panel (south-west direction), can this product heat a good proportion (80% during summer) of 200 L water per day (need of 200 L/day for 4 people) with a 600 L water stockage ?
Etc…

Any kind of information it will be useful has I said : nobody know this product here…

Thanks for your help.

Hello.Well I don't have Biosol myself. But if you want to add a solar system,it is a smart system. As far as I know,it is good quality and reliable. To clean, you have to do it by hand.Regarding the PellX,it is a wellknown type, accepted as reliable at the marktet. For the moment I think Janfire NH is the "hotest" pellets system in Sweden for the moment. But if you want to use solar heating, you need to add a accumulator.Hope someone who have a Biosol will add info for you.

Hi, I dont have Biosol but I have chose their storgetank 750L "Dalatanken".
Both manf. by Stocksbroverken AB.
Mainly for thier good insulation 90mm PUR + hard plastic shell.
When I installed the tank I have to take off the insulation (easy) and the weldings seem to be of very good Q.
I took a quick look at the forum about truoble with Pellx, mainly one
reasons seems to be, ignition element on earlier versions have short lifetime.
Have you look at www.pellx.com only swedish but also www.pellx.net "german" is also one page.
On www.stocksbro.se you find info about Biosol, once again only swedish  .
Don't hesitate to contact if you have any questions.

I tock a breif lock at the information under your link. The information availible seems to bee the same as in Swedish, but I have only been locking at the pictures and interpitated the headlines (I dont read/speak French).

Some information may bee lacking:

The conection in betwen the both hot running water heatexchangers, should be conected in such a way that the hotwater is taken primarely from the lower part of the tank/heater. This is derived by using two heat controled mixing valves.

In order too use the sun best for domestic heating, the heating system shuld bee connected in a simular way as the hotwater. This i derived by using port "sortie 1/2 chauffage" and connect them to a four(4) port mixingvalve (LT, HT, system return, system feed).

The return from the heating system should bee connencted to "retuor" if it runs at high temp. but to "remplissage" if it runs at low temp.

This heater is based on the resarch of Klaus Lorenz and is using most if his findings. It is very likely that you will save much energy if you connect solar collectors to it. But I think it is a good idea to think carefuly about the solar load to the system.(South of France is differnt from Sweden)

As i know it, in that part of europe they tend to use other types of solar collectors or less numbers of them.

So the solarpanel you might want to check what´s available at your "local" market to get something that suits your climate zone.

The ones we have here in sweden might overheat to easily when not in use. But i´m not shure about that ...since a few of the most efficient panels we have here is made in germany, where they in som areas have a very warm and sunny climate.

A summary/transl. from item "Önskar feed back från BioSol-ägare" a couple rows above...

"Dykarn" had starded his Biosol+PellX one month ago.
Is satisfied, easy to serv, work good together with solar panels.
Good temp layers in "store".
