Optosensor

This morning i found my bequem50 with the message "Alarm Optosensor"
The manual says either dust on the sensor or too much sawdust with this pellets, so the burner cannot keep the pellets glowing.

Anyone the same problem?

The problem can also appear when you have problem with the pellets supply. If there is air in the external screw and the burner askas for pellets and the screw runs but ther is only a airpocket.
This causes the burner to run out of pellets and the glow goes out.

Hi Patrik,

in this case i havereceived the message: "Alarm. No Pellets".

at the moment the burner runs without problems.

i dont know the criteria for each alarm but i have learnde the both alarm messgaes can appear when you hav lack of pellets i the external/int screw

Had this problem with the optosensor-alarm again today.

the reason was, that there was a large part of sawdust with the pellets and the burner could not keep the flame alive in the working-pauses.

Are there other optosensors? I think it uses an IR-sensor to control the pelletslevel before the "matarskruv". Could dust on this sensor create a similar alarmcode? Is the IR-sensor an optical sensor?

i am sure it is the sensor which looks after the fire in the boiler.

when the boilerwater is hot and the burner switches back to a lower level or just keeps hte flame it might happen that the sawdust disturbs the pellets from burning
